Guitarists Richie Sambora and Orianthi, who formed duo RSO in 2014, are coming to Sydney on Thursday, September 29.
Sambora is a Grammy Award-winning songwriter and Lead Guitarist of legendary band Bon Jovi, while Adelaide-born musician Orianthi found fame after playing in Alice Cooper’s band and featuring in Michael Jackson’s ‘This Is It’ concert tour and film.
Sambora said he is excited about the tour. “I can’t wait to perform the classic songs fans know and love, as well as share a preview of what you can expect to hear on our upcoming debut album,” Sambora said.
RSO will include songs from both Sambora and Orianthi’s catalogues as well as Bon Jovi, Alice Cooper, Michael Jackson and Prince.
“I’m ecstatic to be bringing this tour home to Australia”, said Orianthi. “Aussies really know how to rock out at concerts. It’s going to be an incredible experience.”
RSO will perform at Metro City in Perth on September 23, Adelaide Entertainment Centre on September 26, Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne on September 27, Enmore Theatre (near Newtown/Marrickville) in Sydney on September 29 and Eaton Hills Hotel in Brisbane on September 30.
